The HQ600-S-7/8P CNC Busbar Punching Shearing Machine delivers precision cutting, punching, chamfering, and embossing for copper/aluminum busbars in high/low voltage systems. Featuring patented hydraulic technology, automated clamp switching, and optional 7/8-punch + 1-shear dies, it ensures waste-free processing with 0.2mm accuracy. Includes BMC control system and ductile iron mold base for industrial durability.
The LTMC HQ600-SP is a 600 kN CNC busbar punching and shearing line built for Canadian switchgear and transformer shops fabricating copper and aluminum busbar for 600 V class switchgear and distribution equipment. It handles busbars up to 15 mm thick by 200 mm wide, punches holes from Ø4.3 to Ø35 mm, and runs an 8-punch + 1-shear inline die set (optionally 7-punch + 1-emboss) with single-clamp automatic feeding. X-axis positioning reaches 75 m/min with 0.10 mm / 500 mm positioning accuracy and ±0.2 mm punching accuracy. Compared with the 400 kN HQ400-S-7P/8P on the same page, it adds 200 kN of force, a wider 15×200 mm capacity versus 12×160 mm, and 75 m/min versus 60 m/min feed. The ductile-iron mould base and branded servo/hydraulic options suit Ontario and Québec panel shops needing repeatable, waste-free busbar prep.
HQ600-SP — Nominal punching and shearing force: 600 kN. Test condition: hydraulic unit driven by the integrated pump and servo clamps processing copper/aluminum busbar. Result: 600 kN nominal pressure sustained through the 8-punch + 1-shear inline die set. Baseline: the HQ400-S-7P/8P listed in the same page spec table delivers 400 kN, so the HQ600-SP adds 200 kN for thicker 15 mm busbar. For Canadian switchgear shops this means headroom for 15 mm copper without slowing the 120–150 punches/min cycle.
HQ600-SP — Maximum processing size: 15 mm × 200 mm. Test condition: single-clamp busbar feed, copper or aluminum, thickness × width. Result: 15×200 mm maximum processing size with punching range Ø4.3–35 mm. Baseline: the HQ400-S-7P/8P in the same table is limited to 12×160 mm and Ø4.3–25 mm. Ontario panel builders gain a wider 200 mm bar and larger holes for high-current 600 V busway.
HQ600-SP — X-axis positioning speed: 75 m/min; positioning accuracy: 0.10 mm / 500 mm. Test condition: servo-driven X-axis clamp travel over the 2000 mm stroke processing continuous busbar. Result: 75 m/min positioning speed with 0.10 mm / 500 mm positioning accuracy and ±0.2 mm punching accuracy. Baseline: the HQ400-S-7P/8P on the same page runs 60 m/min at the same 0.10 mm / 500 mm accuracy. The extra 15 m/min shortens batch lead time for Canadian transformer orders.
HQ600-SP — Punching speed: 120–150 times/min with 8-punch + 1-shear dies. Test condition: inline die set, single clamp, automated clamp switching, copper/aluminum busbar. Result: 120–150 punches/min; optional 7-punch + 1-emboss configuration. Baseline: the HQ400-S-7P/8P in the same table reaches 100 times/min. The hedge-scissor single-pole shear leaves no waste, reducing scrap cost in Québec fabricators' shops.
HQ600-SP — Machine envelope: 10500 × 2900 × 1800 mm; 6 control axes. Test condition: installed line body with feeding table, mould base, conveying and servo control units. Result: 10500×2900×1800 mm footprint, 6-axis CNC control, ductile-iron mould base. Baseline: the HQ400-S-7P/8P shares the 10500 mm length but is 2750 mm wide × 1700 mm tall. Canadian shops should reserve a 2900 mm-wide bay and confirm 600 V / 60 Hz supply with our team.
The HQ600-SP is built for North American busbar shops; confirm the exact supply (208 V, 480 V or 600 V, 60 Hz) and motor/control options (ABB, Rexroth, Beckhoff-class) with our team before order. We will match the servo and hydraulic package to your panel voltage.
Units ship from the LTMC plant and clear Canadian customs; transit and commissioning depend on the selected options and port. Contact our team for a current quote, Incoterms and estimated delivery to Ontario, Québec, Alberta or BC.
Each unit ships with 8 punching die sets, 1 shear blade, maintenance tools and manuals with certificates; spare dies and local training are available. Confirm spare-part stock and on-site training with our Canadian support contact.
